sobriety date.

I've changed it into today.
I haven't relapsed into smoking weed.
But i've picked up smoking sigarettes again.
Why? It's too much, to quit it all at once.
I must remain honest with myself.
I'm a master at self-sabotaging.
I quit smoking weed about twee months ago, after smoking 14 years, mostly daily. I'm 27 now. Doing great in that department, made some huge steps in the right direction. Never thought, picking up smoking cigs for a while would be a part of that.
Pride makes me blind
One day at a time.
Furthermore, I need to work actively on my recovery.
In the long run, i'm not gonna make it doing this on willpower.

Tonight I'm going to a meeting.

I will give up smoking in a year or so. It's not that important right now. I can use some compassion for myself, always being focused on others.

I think that doing one at a time is totally reasonable. For me it would have been too much to quit all at once. Quitting smoking was really really rough for me. Drinking has been hard but in different way.

I remember one time quitting drinking, smoking and coffee at the same time. I made myself INSANE for a couple days and then went back to all 3.

i tried that for many many times, giving up smoking weed and sigarettes,
Made me too totally bonkers,

this time I tought, there's two months in between,
But quitting the sigs is triggering PAWS like crazy,
So the PAWS need to go first, then the sigs will go a lot easier.

I quitted sigs using nicotine pills, they worked great, so I will use it the next time.
When I quit the sigs , in a year or so, I will try to get a few weeks holidays, cause when I quit the nicotine pills, the real deal will commence .

I suffered from insomnia, fatigue, restlessness, hyperactivity and so on. The drug nicotine is a lot harder then THC (stuff in weed that makes you stoned), I know that for sure now.

It's just that, I want to be healthy, as soon as possible. I HATE being addicted to anything. For my own comfort, smoking weed has a lot more toxins in it then sigarette smoke. So I will at least live my live HEALTHIER .

Next to that, I drink a lot of green tea, water and I and take multivitamins, furthermore I eat lot's of fruit an veggies, that will help too I guess.

Rushing this recovery thing is a pitfall.

So today I'm on my day 2, even tough I allready have 60 days or so. LOL.
