I just need a break - and not just from here.

It's been a rough year.

Frank Herbert reckons “There’s no secret to balance. You just have to feel the waves”...well, I've not been feeling the waves this year - more like crashing through.

I love my life and I love what I do with it - unfortunately my body keeps telling me I can't do as much as I'd like, and equally as unfortunately I've been ignoring those signals.

I've had a lot of personal stress, and a lot of stress related illness, this year.

I finally accept that I need to actually make some lifestyle changes, not just talk about them....

I'll be back on deck soon

(((((Dee)))))). darling, I do hope you find some Zen. I don't know if I could make it without my meditation tapes/CDs. I generally listen to them at night in bed. when things are really crazed, I have some "stress busters" that are only about ten minutes long that really help mellow me out. Amazing what a few breathing exercises can do.

So keep breathing, OK? It's the secret to long life. LOL
