reality check.

I've chosen the sobriety date of 06.23.2011

So, today, is my eleventh day.
LOL.
I've quit smoking weed about six weeks ago, after 10 days or so, i've started quiting smoking cigarettes, using nicotine pills.
After some weeks, I quit those. A bit before the 23th of juni I think, but on that date I wrote a poem about nicotine. Thought that would make it an appropiate date.

Many of the folks here would question my reasons why to quit everything all at once, but believe me; it's the ONLY way that works for me in the longer run.
The only way is all the way.

So, reality gave me a visit yesterday, i'm just on day eleven.
Really need tot take this one day at a time...
this weekend i'm going to two meeting, saturday and sunday.

Congrats on your 11 days sober! Do take it one day at a time. For me I had to keep my sobriety priority every day.

How did your meetings go?

It's a good idea to go to a lot of meetings in early sobriety!
