Didn't Drink Last Night.........

And went to the gym today and felt good. I've tried going to the gym with a hangover, not too much fun. Just another thing to feel good about.

I registered today for this site . After 11 years of alcohol abuse , it seems time is up now to quit .Looking forward to support from all of you as I have found this site to be very helpful .

Awesome! I didn't drink either - I even went to a wedding with top shelf open bar for HOURS.

Welcome Newborn - this is a very good site. Lots of great info and feedback to get here.

Congrats man. It amazes me how much easier it is to motivate myself to exercise as a sober person. In the middle of a run, I sometimes find myself thinking that "at this moment, I have absolutely no urge to use", whereas when I'm sitting on my ass doing nothing, sometimes I get that urge to smoke weed.

I dunno, I am still pretty lazy even while sober. Just hate to work out! but hey at least I'm sober. And my line of work keeps me in shape anyway, walking dogs!
