New to this site, not to sobriety
Hello, I'm Kath. 
I just wanted to introduce myself -- I'm new to this site but have been sober nearly 2 years. I've actually been in & out of AA for about 15 years or so, but it only recently occurred to me that I have to put a little effort into sobriety to keep it. What a revelation!! I didn't go to any meetings for about the last 4 months, and could see that I would be heading for a relapse (again) if things didn't change -- meaning, if *I* didn't change. So I went back to meetings -- LOTS of meetings! -- and it's wrought an enormous positive change in me & I'm incredibly grateful for it.
Still, I have a family to schedule around, so I wanted to find an online recovery place for those times when I can't physically get out to a meeting. Thanks for being here, and I look forward to getting to know you all better!
