Music, Sobriety, and Freedom
Just wanted to state that since getting sober it seems like music has a different quality at times. One of my favorite things to do while drinking was to just listen to my favorite music and let it carry me away.
Now though sometimes when listening to music I really like it just seems to resonate deeper in my soul and it feels so good to be able to enjoy it without feeling like I need alcohol or weed as a filter between me and the music, like some kind of freedom.
