In my first few weeks of sobriety, hardly any headaches, but over the last few days, I've had TERRIBLE headaches...and I've been sober since April 19.

Anyone else experience this?

Maybe its a 'real' headache and you just never felt one before.
I don't normally get headaches. The last one was an introduction to a sinus infection.

It could be anything Kelly - go get it checked out if it's worrying you or if it persists

I had headaches for about two weeks after quitting drinking for about five weeks, but they were undoubtedly relatated to alcoholism. Lately I've been getting sinus headaches due to allergies. Do you suppose that's a possibility for you, too? It's certainly that time of year for lots of pollen to be flying around.

I've had a lot more headaches now that I'm sober too. Going on 103 days! Before, I mostly got headaches, when I was really, really hungover - which now that I think about it was quite often. Could be a lot of things.....For me since I don't think its a brain tumor (too much TV) I treat and move on. Could be that I'm not getting enough exercise and its stress since I'm not drowning my problems. But that's just me. If your worried, just ask your Doctor.

Sorry if this is a daft question...but are you drinking plenty of water? Have you cut coffee down recently? Have you had a vision check in the last year or so?

If they really persist, get yourself down to the Doc. Hope you feel better soon.
