day 6
day 6
i finally slept. it's the bad time of day for me though. i liked to start drinking about 9 am. i am going to church instead. i couldn't have bought beer or liquor until 12 anyway. so this is nothing new.
1pm AA meeting today
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Congrats on day 6... I'm right there with you.... Hang in there....
What a difference a week makes.
Last week, I didn't make Monday at work (was in the bar) and arrived in late on Tuesday dehydrated, sweating like crazy with a raw stomach and sore head.
This week, I'll be at the gym bright and early and will be at my desk by 8a.m. on Monday morning having completed my hour long gym session and feeling bright and ready for anything.
Last Tuesday night, I woke up no fewer than 15 times during the night - no exageration, I woke every 30 minutes or less. The joys of withdrawals - hopefully my last.
