My house is sparkling clean...Day 7
woke up this morning around 830...started bleaching the floors, painting scuffs, washing laundry and windows and vacuuming...i just sat down to take a break...lol
i'm trying to keep myself preoccupied because it's Saturday night and I would really like to kick back with a glass of wine BUT I won't..it feels too good to be alert and not hung over

Congrats on day 7... I'm two days behind ya and the temptation was there a few hours ago when I started getting the normal "Saturday night phone calls and texts".
Glad to say, I held out tight and am near ready to go to bed sober..... stick at it and before ya know it, it'll be the months rolling by instead of the days.

Your post reminded me that my garage was full of 4 years worth of dust, junk, spiders, cobwebs and leaves. I've just spent one happy, productive hour in there, sweeping, dusting and blitzing. I'd never have done that on a weekend before I got sober. Thanks!

It's 9pm and I took a little break but I'm headed upstairs to put some laundry away, gonna take a nice long shower...or bath and hit the hay Hope everyone enjoys their night -feels good to have a place to go where people understand you.
