This month has been the hardest yet.

I realized I had a problem decided to quit back in november. I have relapsed a few times since but nothing too bad, just a couple days of drinking. The entire month of may has been one huge binge though. I'm trying not to beat myself up over this because I know it will do no good.

I know the reasons behind my choice to use and I know that whatever I was doing before my relapse obviously was not working completely. I feel like I have a clearer direction of where I need to go from here. Made an appointment with my old counselor, and going to a meeting after work today. That is a good start. It has been a while so I just thought i'd share. Thanks for listening!

good to see you back 1983ritag.
I hope you can stop drinking again soon....drinking never makes anything better.

I have struggled and "caved" this month as well. I think the trick is to just keep trying no matter what. I'm right there with ya!! Good luck to ya!

:ghug3 Sounds like you have a plan! That's a start and from there you will get support. Hang in there, I know how hard this is. Whatever is troubling you please get it out and give yourself a big hug.

I found that once I let alcohol back in the door, it didn't take long for it to make itself at home......

Glad you got back as soon as you did, and that you're making some positive plans for additional help. You can do it!

I am sorry you had such a tough time in May. Thank you for having the courage to share that. I am only on Day 11 and there have been many times in the past I thought about quitting and didn't.

SR has definitely helped me get through these past few days. I keep setting little goals. This Friday will be two weeks. I am looking forward to getting past obsessing over how many days sober.

Welcome back, and again thanks for sharing!
