I pray everyone has the strength to say yes to sobriety this weekend. I need a day off so I am taking the weekend off. I plan on spending the day with my daughters. Maybe take them out to lunch or spend the day at the pool. I don't want too much idle time on my hands. God bless

...or you could go to an AA meeting and fill your time with other alcoholics who know something about getting and staying sober.
Maybe it's time to let go of some old ideas?

Is it weird that I wish I worked everyday now that I'm sober?
No, I think it's pretty normal. I think what you are really saying is that you need daily structure in you life because if you have unstructured free time you're worried you might get yourself in trouble.
I think this feeling is common in early sobriety, as time passes you will get stronger and more sure of yourself.
