Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.
While working in my yard

in to read posts and
haven't seen Kelly from
rehab yet today. Am I just missing him

has he not checked in yet?

Ay, there's the rub, the kernel of the problem...Phenomenon of Craving.
It can strike without warning, at any moment.
Any ideas on how to send it off into the stratosphere, away from Earth, where it can torture us no more?

Thank you mscbrown...lol As soon as I wrote my post on
Hillshire and posted it, the commercial came on...lol I
just laughed.
Oh, and thank you so much for sending me what Kelly wrote.
I can so relate to what he is going thru cause I also had the
opportunity to go thru a 28 day rehab. It brings back fond
memories of early recovery and how much I hung on for dear
life to stay sober with the tools and knowledge I recieved from
there to take with me on my journey.
Im glad he is experiencing the beginnings of recovery is a safe
controlled inviroment.

Thank your HP that you are in a safe, controlled inviroment
today if those cravings arise. When you go home then you
will have to rely on all your learning and knowledge you've
recieved there in rehab. All those little simple tools like steps,
principles, H.A.L.T., R.I.D., Serenity Prayer, 3rd Step Prayer,
meetings, sponsors, fellowship, SR and more will help you
when those little pesky things in life get to you.
I was reminded that its not the big things in life that I have
to worry about, but rather the little things.
Stay strong, walk with gratefullness and humility tonight
when u pick up ur 30 day chip. What an accomplishment..!!!!!
