Still sober!!!!!
Sorry I haven't been on the boards. I've been in the rooms instead! Wanted to let my SoberRecovery friends know that it does work if you can work it. I've picked up my six month NA chip on April 15 and the same for AA last week.
I just waited for it to come around. I even had an abscessed molar pulled, a tooth that was dumping bacteria into my blood stream for the last two months making me sick as a dog. And I survived, doing the procedure without sucking on a tank of gas, taking a handful of tranquilizers before the procedure and didn't pound a 12 pack of beer getting back.
The numbers: 9 months no pot, 8 months no Klonopin, 7 months no booze.
So good to see so many of my old SR friends are still on board. BinderDude! Still doing back flips here on your one year. I have several friends here, one gal with 30 years of sobriety (anyone know where we can get a 30-year chip?) and she has several sponsees that she keeps track of via Skype! I'm sending you a schedule of Skype AA meets.

JayWalker...Man, I was so in the pit when you helped me, it took me two weeks to get the BB reference of you user name! You were a life line that I grabbed onto with the fingernails and saved me from deep despair.
OK, later....I've got to go give some of this away before I lose it.
