New to everything...dealing with lapse
Hello all,
So this girl I have been seeing was a junkie for 10 years, She has been mostly clean for a year, due to a stint in jail. She takes subutex (3x a day) but ran out. So last night she relapsed and told me about it this morning. She got two pills and used them both. She got her subutex prescription filled today.
I know that it is not the end of the world. But I'm pretty sure that she needs to do something. I am totally new to this and have no idea what to do or tell her. Any advice or pointers to additional information would be appreciated.

You are right in that SHE needs to do something. She knows what she needs to do, especially if she's been an addict for 10 years. Best thing you can do is not enable her.
Read the sticky posts here about enabling and detachment. There isn't much YOU can do, except not enable her.
