Hit A Wall...

Hello! I’m new to SR. I have been sober since August 2010. My drugs of choice: Oxycotin, Oxycodone and xanax I have never attended a NA or AA meeting. I did go through an outpatient treatment. But I feel that I have hit a wall in my recovery. I don’t know what I should be doing next. I joined SR because of the good advice I seen given by members 

Hi and welcome and dare I say go try a NA mtg there is nothing to lose.

I have found many people who are going through similiar problems.

There is also a really cool social aspect and summer is almost here and they have campouts, and BBQ's, softball

I went to NA for several years and now I go to AA just because I needed something different.

Nothing what-so-ever to do w/NA it is a wonderful program

Try to remember we don't have to do this alone unless we choose to.

Everyone who has ever gone to their 1st meeting is scared and feels out of sorts but you get past it.

Go and come back and let us know what you thought.

Hi Ans-

AA or NA is designed to not only remove the obession of drinking or using, but also to give you a design for life without alcohol or drugs.

It's an amazing program and it never ends.

I'm living proof

Kjell~
