Music that lets me vent
Music that lets me vent
I hope this helps someone as much as it does me.
I have a full table of work to get done today, and I am still not feeling good from this weekend. That is typical of me & holidays.
So I put on my ipod & my "playlist". It helps me get moving.
I have very eclectic taste so maybe someone will find something they can use.
You Lie.....Band Perry
Sideways.....Sheryl Crow
I try....Macy Gray
A Little Bit stronger...Sara Evans
3 am.....Matchbox Twenty
It's too late....Carole King
Forget you....Ce Lo Green
Pray for you....Jaron
Details in the Fabric....Jason Mraz
Lover, Lover......Jerrod Neiman
Stronger.....Kanye West
I am off to get something in my life done.

((BarelyHere))) - my music is different, but I, took, have music that gets me going, makes me feel good, and I have it on my mp3 player AND my phone
Two of my favorites are:
Eminimem - I'm not afraid
T.I. - get back up
Both are hip-hop and both are related to addiction and recovery, though TI's was written after a relapse/prison sentence, it's still good. I no longer have the desire to use, but I relate to the songs more on a codie level, nowadays, because I'm in recovery for that, too.
I also have some old songs that remind me of good times before I got into addiction. Definitely don't go anywhere without my music
Hugs and prayers,
Amy
