...now that I've received a whopping 24.75$ in child support, garnished from my XAH's income tax return. What ever shall I do with this earth-shattering symbol of his loving support of his (4th) child?
I'm going to Disneyland.

Yep. I actually got a support payment that is about 1/2 of the monthly amount he's supposed to pay and then a 1/8 payment. I'm assuming it was garnished from his paychecks. And I'm guessing, based on the dwindling amount, he's either
- quit
- been fired
- started working under the table or
- is about to quit because "they don't have enough hours for" him (which, I've finally learned, is code for: I'm screwing up big time and they're cutting my hours).
I agree with Smacked, unless you have a pressing bill to pay, take the payment and go splurge on a treat for you and DD.
Nodaybut2day,
maybe you could invest it!
or better yet, but that much in your state lottery, and if you win, well, that would be lovely!

That would almost give me a full tank of gas here in California! A couple of movie tickets? OH I could go and on!
Man oh man. Glad you have a sense of humor. What else can you do to get that check?

Bwa-hahahahaha!
All his evil plans for naught! He has been touched by the long arm of the law!
(sorry for the laugh at his expense, but good god, he loved a good conspiracy, and I hope he appreciates the irony of this. <snicker>)

Hummmm I could actually use that almost $25. Making a list of all the things my kids need right now that that could buy:
almost a whole yearbook (need three more dollars)
my kindergartener's graduations pictures
tickets for both kids school field day next week
quarter of a tank of gas that would drive them to school and me to work for two days
*sigh, I'd just be happy if someone forced him to to pay me SOMEthing, anything.
so if you want to share that trip to Disney, the three of us are available

Thanks for the commiseration and the laughs everyone...I love SR's humour.
In the end, the 24.75$ went towards the purchase of DD's first ever tricycle:
Tricycle
Ok, so I splurged a bit....DD wasn't complaining
