Two weeks today! I can't tell you how great I feel. I really, really do. So clearheaded, my friends and husband have remarked on how fresh faced I look (I think I've lost 5 years in the last two weeks) and I no longer dread the evenings and losing myself to the bottle. Life feels fuller and more rich by the day. I feel more emotionally steady, my moods have evened out, and I can have a discussion with my husband without getting tense and accusatory. I can look at myself in the mirror and know that I am treating myself better both inside and out. More than anything, I'm learning to forgive myself. I can't put the past right, but I can darn well do my very best in the future.

Thank you all, so very much for your support and words of wisdom. I love this site, it boosts me every second I'm here.
