Day 11 rehab - continued
Hi all:
Went for a walk, it was so refreshing.
Dinner in 45 minutes, can't wait - although, I must say, I have never been into sweets or desserts, and I find I love the Jello, or pecan pie, or date squares, or apple pie, or pumpkin pie, or anything else they put out for dessert with lunch and dinner.
I guess I'm compensating for not drinking?!
Got to keep working on my big assignment after dinner.
Then a hockey game at 10:00 pm!
Lots of folks went home for the weekend, on a weekend pass - there are only about 75 patients here, compared to 325 during the week.

I've rediscovered sugar, too! I guess I was getting a ton of it with my nightly bottle of wine, although I've always thought I wasn't a sweet toothed person - more savory and salty. But I had the BIGGEST slab of chocolate birthday cake at a party last night, and it hardly touched the sides! Glad you are looking forward to your meals

Good For You!
Kelly-
You found your tastebuds are working well--excellent! Being in an inpatient program like that teaches structure and it's so great to read that you're looking forward to the game (I'm in the Southern USofA so it's still afternoon for me).
Hope your team wins (or won already!) and am looking forward to tomorrow's update!
