Money

Sad. I've been keeping busy and going through my house and I find SO MANY THINGS that I have bought when I was drinking that I didn't need. Really dumb stuff. Anybody else do that? WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!!? :rotfxko

I actually found that I wound up buying more stuff after I first stopped drinking-- there was this belief that I owed it to myself, that I deserved certain things. Like ties. I bought a lot of ties. Many that I never wore.

LOL! Ties. Funny.

I think I sometimes use shopping to fill the empty hole. I still like to shop, sometimes... I just don't buy as much ridiculous stuff.

When I was drinking I bought a lot of stuff I didn't need. It all came in liquid form.

I like that Zebra ...I like that a lot. My obsessive side gets a lot worse when I drink so ya , end up doing and buying stuff I did not need in my life. There again that extra hard drive sitting on the shelf didn't mess my body , mind or soul....but all that useless liquid sure did.

Ties are nice! and they don't go bad....you are always prepared to be well-dressed!

A stronger man could resist positing this but...

Better to find stuff that can be sold on eBay than a spouse or an itch!

I just know I spent a ton of money on FOOD when I was drunk, and even more when I was high on weed. Throughout college I spent hundreds of dollars on Jimmy John's sandwiches on walks home from the bar. And perhaps most dangerously, I used to go to Wal-Mart after smoking. Naturally EVERYTHING looked appetizing.

Needless to say I am very happy with the surplus of money I now have in my sobriety that went to junk food in the past.
