Day 2 Feels Good

I am just waking up and don't have a hangover. No panic attacks over trying to remember what I did or said or emailed or facebooked that would haunt me today. This feels so good. I woke up remembering why I wanted to quit in the first place. Peace. I know it is minute by minute in this early stage, but I just want to enjoy the good that I feel right now. This will motivate me through the day. I may organize my closet today or wash my car or just sit outside and enjoy the day. So many more options when the day doesn't start with regrets and headaches.

Huge!

I can completely relate with your feelings on this! It is so nice not feeling those feelings of remorse anymore. Wow, it is Saturday morning and I feel fine? Huge! I am going in to day 3 and I am getting so much more accomplished! it is great! Keep up the good work!

Thank you all! I am having a very good day. I got a lot done around the house, took some time actually doing something with my hair and make up, went to the store and got great stuff to cook for lunch...passed up the beer and wine aisle with confidence today. It felt good.

Good for you! Keep taking it one day at a time and enjoy those sober mornings. They definitely start the day off in the right direction.
