Gratitude, today

I am grateful that I am no longer living in an abusive relationship, even if the abusive relationship still is living in my head.
I am grateful that I can call my former relationship "abusive" without qualifying that with how it wasn't as bad as some and could have been worse.
I am grateful that my children have a foundation of balance and comfort and safety that I somehow managed to give them over the years, despite the unmanageable life we had.
I am grateful that I have found support on all levels: Supportive friends, supportive Al-Anon groups, support here, a supportive counselor, supportive boss and coworkers, and a justice system that, so far, seems to be working.
I am grateful that I have a home, a car, clothes, and hair on my head (even if all of the above have seen better days and have a lot of mileage on them).
I am grateful that I have a program, and that nobody tells me how to work the program -- I am responsible for it and I can work it the way I can and am able to.
I am grateful that my HP is very patient with me and loves me through this.
And I am grateful that while working through all of this, I've met a man who is also patiently loving me through it.

What are you grateful for today?

I am grateful that today will be a sunny day, without rain.
I am grateful that I felt comfortable taking my time to go to work this morning, even though that means I got here 2 hours late.
I am grateful for kitten kisses and happy purrs.
I am grateful for the Easter candy in my refrigerator.
I am grateful that lunchtime is here, and that the weekend will follow shortly.

I am grateful that I got my smile back.

Today, I am grateful that I had sick time accrued at work, because I am taking it.
I'm grateful that Spring is just around the corner.
I'm grateful for my coworker, who got me computer hardware when he heard that I'd moved out.
I'm grateful for my other coworker, who helped me move without asking why.
I'm grateful that every time I get sad, I'm able to hear the quacking, which lets me feel I made the right decision.
I'm grateful that I'm healthy.

I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to define my values conscientiously, and for learning how to say 'we'll see what happens'.

I am grateful. There are no words to describe the width, depth, or the images that appear in my mind of my gratitude.

I am grateful that the sun is shining today.

I am grateful that this weekend will be spent at home.

I am grateful that I have my own home and I get to make all the decisions that I think are best regarding the household - and that they will happen.

I am grateful I have a minivan. Woot!! I'm queen of the road and we are no longer squished like sardines.

I am grateful that my immediate life is free of alcoholism and all that means.
