Glad and Sad
I'm so glad I look at this website and, particularly, this forum.
To be honest, I don't really know why I never took note of it in the past.
I've always known there are many, many thousands such as myself (parent/family member/partner to an addict), but, somehow, reading this forum and knowing that I'm not alone helps.
Even after all these years, it helps to see the good in people.
I don't comment as often as I should now that I've found this place, but that's normally because I have little to add. I guess I'm no different than lots of people.
However, I am sad that there are so many of us.
Sorry, I just wanted to say thank you to those that comment on this site and to those that run the site.
I live in Britain and most on here appear to be from America, but I will tell my fellow Brits about this place and the people on it; we're all the same.
