questions about no contact order
Okay, when I got out of jail the paper the bonds man gave me said"avoid all contact from -=-=-=-= . Its not a emergency protective order she signed, So nyone knows what it means. I am in Virginia.
If you have been ordered to avoid all contact with her, then that's what you need to do. Her bills are her problem. You can either continue to take care of her pets or see if one of her relatives wants them. If neither of those are options, you can always take them to an animal shelter where they can find new homes.
Violate ANY court order and you risk being held in contempt of court. Which could mean a hefty fine or more jail.
Let her worry about her own bills and her own pets. You can ask to speak to a social worker at the jail, explain what your order says, and I'm sure he or she will be happy to pass along the info to the g/f.
Oh, and not to mention, since it's a bail order you risk having your bail revoked.
