SR = The Gift That Keeps on Giving!
I woke up at 4:30 this morning, Toronto time, after a drinking dream....felt like drinking...then realized that, INSTEAD, I could simply log on to Sober Recovery and try to get support from my fellow alkies! Way cool! I got sleepy again, though, and the urge left me, so I just went back to sleep (plus I had no booze in the house!)...but I sure felt good, knowing that S.R. is always there, 24/7, 365 days a year!
Nice! Thanks to you all, from Vancouver to Tokyo, from London to Cape Town, from Mexico City to Berlin, etc., etc.!!!!!!!

I feel ya! AA meetings arent available to me 24/7 like the big cities. When Im feeling down or like I REALLY REALLY need a drink I check SR. I check it from my phone all day from work. Its such a comfort!
Forward we go...side by side-Rest In Peace

SR started me on my road to recovery and keeps me chugging along. It is a HUGE factor in my recovery. I've learned so much and met really cool people. I try to check in twice a day. Thanks to everyone on SR!

I am glad God is there 24/7 too. I need to remember to turn to Him sometimes!
I come here, I get my big book out and read it...but I have to remind myself to pray...ask God for help...and Thank Him for all He does for me.
