A few months back I read Codependence No More. I just started going to Alanon a few weeks ago. I am ready to take the next step in my recovery and would like to know what book you guys think would be a good next book. Is it the big blue Alanon book? Another Alanon book? or something else?

I love that book! I also read daily affirmations by Melody Beattie called, The Language of Letting Go. There have been times when I've needed to sleep with that book under my pillow because I was at such a loss as to what to do and the book gave me strength in waking hours. I thought the best place for those wise thoughts while I slept could come up from under the pillow. Whatever works, huh?!

Bellakeller, I sleep with my Language of Letting go too. I pick it up first thing in the morning and read several days worth. Love the book.
