Resentments/fear
The whole point of the AA program is to not have resentments or fears. After my 4'th and 5'th steps in my previous failed attempt to sober up I still couldn't rid myself of them. I'll never understand how I'm supposed to not have these emotions. I know it's only 11 days but I'm still a sullen fearful SOB.
Hi!
I don't know about AA but I know my life coach says there is no room for fear in a grateful heart. So I make a practice of gratitude and it really helps. In fact there is a whole section here for gratitude...maybe you should give it a try?

LaFemme....
I am also new to recovery, and I've heard that quote quite often "There is no fear in a grateful heart." I still don't know what that means. I consider myself a very grateful person but still have a ton of fear. Could you elaborate on what that means to you? Thanks.
