For his DUI he got back in November(the one he insists he's innocent of, even with the .14 BAC) As soon as he leaves(because of course he's going to drive himself) I'm getting the emergency bags in the car instead of in the van(still broken, he hasn't bothered to even have it looked at, he has more important things to spend money on apparently) just in case he rages tonight. And there is a very good chance that he will, if not tonight, then in the very near future. I am prepared, no job at the moment, but I can change that within a week(thank goodness there is still a good job market here).
I actually have one that I inquired about(weekend cleaning). Right now, with living 20 minutes from town(I am moving into town in June), figuring out full-time child care(plus how to pay for it) would be difficult(all the daycares out here are full) Once I'm there it'll be easier, as I'll have friends and family that have expressed that they will help out(and I can get child care assistance). The weekend cleaning would work out because the hours are just right for my 15yo to babysit, but I can't rely on him to babysit all the time, it's not fair to him.
I can also rarely get into town to apply for jobs/interview by myself.

Nothing tonight, and considering the 8 cans of beer in less than 3 hours, that's pretty good. Tomorrow "should" be okay, as he's working a 12 hour day, so will most likely come home and crash.
Thanks for the reminder that I CAN get a job now, I've been making excuses in my mind as to why I can't, when really, I can get something now. Maybe not the full-time job I'll end up with once I'm moved out , but I can at least be working.
