no using drugs or booze
Hi! Hang in there! Sometimes you have to put up with some hard times before the good times come. Don't give up, the good times might be just around the corner! Also, it's said that success is getting up one more time than you fall.

Hi Kevin-
I needed, then after I got sober, wanted a design for living without alcohol. I wasn't able to do this on my own (see my signature line).
By working the steps of AA, I now have a blueprint on how to not only live, but be a productive, helpful, and happy man.
AA isn't the only way, but it's a way. You might need a program too.
Kjell~

Kevin,
Why don't you simply stop messing around and GO to a meeting? You've been talking about it, dancing around it, and you are clearly not feeling great. What have you got to lose, for heaven's sake?
You mentioned in the other thread you have issues with "pride", and I think most of us do. It's ego that stops us from admitting we don't know it all and maybe someone else could teach us something.
Seriously. Just go. If you absolutely hate it you don't have to go back, but my bet is you will find it a welcoming place, and a big relief to be with other people who can relate to how you're feeling and show you how to feel better.
