Hi everyone
Hi my name is Ulf. I´m not new to recovery but new in here. I was told about this program in an AA meeting last week and I´m hoping that I can find this program good for me. I´m almost 11 months sober (April 19th 2010) and I´m struggling with fear and anxiety at the moment and I attend both SMART Recovery meetings online (is that ok to mention in here?) and AA face-to-face meetings. I´m diagnosed with a post traumatic stress syndrome and I have seen a therapist for that - that´s not the reason I´m in here, but I just thought I´d mention that. I´m here basically to expand my recovery and to join another community in search of a well balanced life-style and successful recovery.

Welcome, and yes we embrace any and all recovery programs here.
I know there are members who have PTSD, and it's something that I struggle with. When I was told about it, many years ago, I had never heard of it and was clueless. I think addiction often follows as a way to deal with life, self-medication.
There is lots of support here and there's always someone online to talk to.
