Not looking forward to this

I am well I started doing heroin at 12, on and off of other drugs(coke,meth ect)...I haven't used IV since September of 2009, but continuously and consistantly use oxy and fentanyl, I'm having surgery soon then I'm supposed to get in a program (out patient) to get off this ****... I'm terrified of that more than surgery! I want to but frankly hate withdrawal to the point of terror. Will my wishy washy attitude detour my recovery and sobriety!? Honestly I can't recal a time I have been not a user except when in rehab or jail.... Opiates are like a comfort.... A family...
Any thoughts suggestions?

I think you have to find what you need inside yourself, rather than using things outside of you to make you feel better.

When I first started my recovery journey I didn't know if I could live clean & sober. I am now glad that I did enter recovery because the quality my life has been getting better and better as I go along with a drug free lifestyle.
