Beginning of day 5, pills in my pocket ? Ready to flush?

Beginning of day 5, pills in my pocket ? Ready to flush?
Wow, I slept last night, all night, til now 5:30 am........gotta say I feel pretty good in comparison to monday....I may even do my make up and hair yoday....maybe
All the vitamins helped, I withdrew before, and it was alot worse than this time., I also was able to stay in bed a few of the bad days, drank alot of water and thru in ice tea for a change. Im wonderin if today will be my day of salvation, and flush those pills down!!!! That would be great, I think I am ready, I feel so proud inside, having nothing since sunday ay 6 pm, and it is now friday. I feel peace, to a point, still anxious.:ghug3

Flushing the pills will be more a sign of commitment to sobriety and a test of strength than keeping them could ever be, sistersforever.

I know flushing the pills is one of the hardest things. When your ready, it will feel so good to have them gone out of your life. I think your an inspiration. I never could have gone through withdrawl when I still had access to the pills. They seem to call my name. I hope today is the day for you. You will feel accomplished.

Im flushing my pills, right now....
This is my day of salvation, in 2 more hrs it will be 120 hrs, but, I feel great....I am tired still, wondering when that will end? My friends wanna go out tomorrow, wonder if that will help me feel better? They dont pop pills, so I know I am safe.......
There are moments that go by, that I dont know how the heck I made it to day 5, but I did, and I am so proud...........heres to flushing.....:ghug3 Im doing it, right now...bye, bye percs, hope to never see you again.......

That so cool, sisters! That's not easy to do, but you did it!
The first couple weeks of getting sober I tried to have something I could look forward to each day (like ordering from a good restaurant), and I kept things pretty simple and didn't put a lot of pressure on myself. I think it really helped me stay grounded.
