Today is one of the happiest days of my life because

I was approved for a loan modification!!

My ah lost his jobs over and over which created a huge loss of income for us. We were not able to pay our mortgage. We fell way behind.

Then it was just me and my income. I used my income to apply for a loan modification and we were approved.

My ah is still on the mortgage but in rehab and by the grace of god the staff had a notary on site who allowed us to all get together today to sign the documents.

I am just so happy that my children and I will be able to keep our home.

Not having my ah here was one thing that concerned me because I thought I would not be approved for a mod without him but I was!

I am very happy about that. Yay!

That's wonderful! I think it is particularly great to have that reassurance that no matter what, you CAN move forward and positive things can happen. Congrats!! Doesn't it feel good?

Hi, Yes. I am so happy. Loan modifications are very hard to get. I have been trying for 18 months. It was worth the wait for sure.

I was the only one with income so that I was all that was needed to get approved but I knew I would need the other borrowers signature so I am very grateful I was able to go get it.

My kids and I will get to stay in our lovely home!
