Now, maybe write yourself a love letter of sorts from you to the recovering you. Sounds silly but I did this more than once to encourage myself and keep my spirits up.

I will no longer waste my days worrying about anyone else and instead take very special care of myself.

I am a child of God, worthy of love and respect...and I will accept nothing less when I decide how I will allow others to treat me.

See what I mean? Give it a try, it's healthy and fun and healing.
