New to forum and recovery

Okay, i intoduced myself in another forum because my problems are also tied to my boyfriends. but You guys are right, I can't ignore the fact that i have gone through times where i have drank too much or drank for all the wrong reasons. So I can't ignore my personal recovery. I had my last drink (three beers) 01-26-11. Before that I hadn't drank since xmas eve. I still live with someone who has a drinking problem. I never want to drink again ever. I am hoping to get out soon and be able to go to meetings.

Welcome!!!

Again!

Would strongly urge you to take advantage of services offered for abused partners/spouses, you really need some real life support for this.

I can't imagine this guy is going to be very happy about losing his meal ticket, and I would be concerned about your safety.

Please give it some serious thought.

Welcome justsotired

I just read your other thread.
I really hope you'll consider some of the advice you got there - your domestic situation alarms me.

Hi justsotired! Welcome. I never want to drink again, ever too.

I also read your other thread and it must be very difficult and
confusing trying to decide what to focus on first. The great
news is SR has it all in the way of support. Reach out everywhere
on here and I promise you will never have to be alone on this journey.

Look forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome....

It's a fact for me to recover I had to make drastic changes
and Yes! that included breaking up with my sill drinking lover.

Hope all works out to your benefit..
It certainly did for me.
