Day 16 - checking in!!
As the title says it's Day 16 for me.
I have not posted much but am on here everyday reading.
I want to thank all of the people here who post their stories and offer such encouragement to others. It has been invaluable to me.
This is the first time I have felt the need to quit drinking. I want my healthy life back. This has been my sole source of support.
Anyway, I feel great. Luckily I did not have much prob with w/d. I keep waiting for "the other shoe to drop" but so far so good.
I feel so good in fact that I have to remind myself how bad I felt before. Wasting days on end trying to feel better. Don't ever want to revisit that.
I would still like a glass of wine with dinner - but not having one is becoming the norm now. I love waking up full of energy w/a clear head.
Again, thanks everyone!! I am here reading daily.

Hi Blessings
Congratulations on your 16 days.
I find SR works best when you use it regularly...it's good to be part of a community and have that support resource as a regular important part of your life....especially when days get rough, as they can for us all.
Glad we've been of help
