Hey everyone this is my first day of being sober, I have been drinking pretty regular since 03, I finally today decided to do what I know is time. I don't want my kids to see me like this no more. I hit a tree in 04, lucky to be here and not dead or in jail, and not to have killed someone also. I am here, I also know this is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's time. Please, pray for me and throw some faith my way. thanks

Welcome to SR! It's been one month since I chose to be sober and there is nothing like waking in the morning and looking your kids in the eyes and not feel guilty or ashamed about what happened the night before.
