I'm not sure I ever had gastritis, but it was common for me to have gastric 'issues' after I stopped.

Is this to do with the bug your family has xuse, or just a question?

"I drank alot of wine over the years and so I believe that contributed to developing gastritis/GERD. "

Yay. NOT...Wine was one of my many drinks of choice.

xuse, I am confused by your statement "I seem to have it mild". Have you been to a Dr and were you diagnosed with gastritis? If not please go. Digestive issues could be anything, and certainly require a medical professional.
