Amazing link for anyone in AA or thinking of it

Good morning everyone! I came upon a site that has a ton of amazing audio. It has the Joe and Charlie tapes, Father Martin, stuff from some of the original members of AA, Bill W, and much more.

If I were new and wanted to see what AA is all about I'd go directly to the Joe and Charlie tapes and start at the top. You can listen to all of these directly from your computer or even download them to your ipod.

The site is Downloads & mp3's from silkworth.net.

Seems to be spam free. Best of luck everyone!

Yup, that's where I downloaded the Joe & Charlie BB study.

Here's another great site with free downloads of a TON of AA (as well as other 12-step programs) speakers: XA-Speakers - The lights are on!.

You may need a bigger iPod!

I listen to the Joe and Charlie big book talks over and over during my workouts, they really have helped with my understanding of my disease and the program of recovery detailed in the Big Book.

I'll have to check out Father Martin. I listened to Joe and Charlie's take on the mental obsession followed by physical craving today and I think I came to a new understanding on what being an alcoholic really is. This is my first time listening to them. Very Good!

What a lot of people don't realize even after listening to him is that Father Martin was a first-rate drunk.

I'll have to check out Father Martin.

Listening to Joe and Charlie go through each step dramatically improved my understanding of AA. I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Any other recommendations on another speaker(s) talking about each step 1 - 12 (like Joe and Charlie did)?
