Update on "Now He Won't Leave"

Once again, thank you to all of you who helped me recently.

My last post on the thread mentioned that he left on his own. That lasted for a couple of days, until he showed up at my door again. Now, I know better than to let him in, but he knew when to show up, when the kids would be there to see him asking to come in. So, sure enough, to not cause a scene, and to avoid tears of my girls, I let him in. He is now, finally gone again...into a place of his own in a town about 20 miles away. I am extremely happy that he is finally, really gone. The thing is, I think I am starting to have to deal with the codie issue. While I am happy, truly, I have a real sense of unease. I can't quite put my finger on it. Is it because there is nothing to worry about? No outcomes to try and predict/alter?
Like I said, I am happy. I guess I just thought it would feel different.

Sometimes it takes a while to just get out of the habit of being worried.

I'm so glad that worked out! Whew!

Change is never easy. (((hugs)))

Give yourself some time to land. You're going to be absolutely fine.
