Filed taxes last night, have the money going to two separate accounts. Once it's in my account, I am going to be opening a new savings account in only my name(closing the old account, because AH's name is on it) and it's being put into there.

By the end of next week I should also be able to get my eyes examined and some new glasses ordered, then I won't look like a hillbilly while I'm out applying for jobs(I have tape on the bows of my glasses, thanks to my toddler)

I'm doing it, I'm really doing it.

It does feel good! I'm going to load stuff into my van to store at my sister's house today too, even with the -33F windchill. Gawd I hate arctic fronts.

I packed up all of XABF's dolls, and pulled down the corner shelves (those things were a pain to install). Everything looks so much brighter and less cluttered already, and that's with half his stuff piled high in corners in the dining and living rooms, and I haven't even pulled down the spice rack or the cups or the spoons.
My poor car is piled high with bags of his clothing, and boxes stuffed in the trunk, because I want this stuff out so that I can move on.

I am taking back my attention, my apartment, and my life - nobody can stop me, and it feels oh so good.
