OT - Paid Off My Car Today!
Not like it's a mercedes or even from this decade...
but it's MINE.
And I paid for it,
I got the credit for it....
all on my own.
And that - feels GOOOOOD!!!
Nobody can take it from me.
Nobody has any say so over it.
Nobody can use it to threaten me.
ANd that is lovely.

I also just paid mine. *****!! I felt great asking for my "owner" document!! mine is an old yaris ...
I feel great driving and choosing my own music and singing!! nothing like being able to move around and go wherever you want whenever you feel like it!!

I just got my old Dodge Durango back from my sister - the one I paid off two years ago that she was using as a back-up, but I need now as leaving my AH left me short one car. It squeaks so loud that I figure I won't hit anyone (or anything) since they can hear me coming a mile away! It didn't have heat so needed instant $200 in repairs. The drivers seat sags, there's a big dent in the back door and rust on the front fender.
But its PAID OFF and its MINE and what a great feeling to know I am stepping closer and closer to self sufficiency!
