For those of us that are new you should take the time to read the family section. It is just as much of an eye opener and help as the area for us. All of the same BS that I have been blabbering off to my wife is being said by just about every one of us to our spouses or family. How can we all be so different, in different locations, never met and all be so much alike. I have almost always been a loaner when it comes to my addiction but all of the same crap comes flowing out of my mouth as if from some kind of universal template created by some alcohol god just for us. Oh, I am so glad I found this place! And I am so sorry for what I have been puting my family through all these years.

Reading thru their horror stories reinforces my desire to stay sober so I never put my kids thru an alcoholic hell again.
