New guy: Does anyone know of a detox center in Toronto Ontario?
New guy: Does anyone know of a detox center in Toronto Ontario?
As the title mentions.
So I have a few Q's:
1) looking for a detox center in the Toronto Ontario area (for alcohol). I checked online but didn't find anything.
2) How much is this going to cost me once I check in
3) Typically how long to I check in for?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
You can call each place and ask questions about cost and length of stay, etc.
You could also possibly get some info from your dr:
Toronto Central Alcohol Drug Rehab Programs

Welcome Someguy71 - This site is very resourceful and I'm sure someone will have information for you soon! Your doctor should have resources at hand. I found this site, perhaps they will be able to direct you too:
addictionenders.com/drug_rehab_toronto
Hope that helps!

hey someguy71! im out here in british columbia, and usually the detox centers are free and you enrol yourself. i found mine by calling the hospital and asking about resorces. try calling your local hospital, they will usually have information for you. good luck, let me know if you find anything.
WOW!! that was quick!!
Thanks for the replies.
We are moving to Toronto within the next few months so I'll have to look it up once we get there. I am just getting ready and lining everything up so that it will be as smooth a transition as possible (relatively speaking of course).

Hello D,
We're kind of in an awkward situation. I am receiving unemployment and currently working part time. As it is, I can't afford to take any time off. There are no rehab / detox centers anywhere within a 3 hour drive, and we don't have a family physician. So I'm kind of pooched until we move to the city.
Once we're in the city I can hook up with my old family doctor and get checked in
