A last attempt
Hi Eddie,
As Dee would probably ask, What's your plan? What are you going to do differently this time?
Congrats on starting again, and for posting!

What i am going to do differently is to withdraw properly over the next week. This will require the usual will power. The next step is to find a place in my life where I can be stable to remain sober. I dont care if I live to be the most boaring man on the planet, I want to b at peace. I will lose friends and gain friends. I will have to be reborn some way and forget my former life.

Good luck!
Although since you are determined, you don't really need luck. Just support when things hit the fan. I am pretty good most of the time, but once in a while, I need to talk to someone sober pronto!! I don't really go to AA meetings, but I do have three friends who went through that program and they are good to talk to when I am upset about something, which used to send me for a bottle of wine. Also, I belong to an online sobriety group, and read here a lot. Both help me a lot.
You also might want to ask your MD about Campral. I am on it and it repairs the brain and helps reduce cravings. It has been a miracle drug for me, but it doesn't really kick in until you are sober a few days.
Best,
Nancy
