One down, one to go.

Christmas eve was always a drinking time for me - wrapping presents with a glass in hand. Got through it well last night. A few niggles but nothing like I was last week.

Today I am feeling very strong and confident that I won't want or take a drink.

Hope you all have a good day alcohol-free and without the desire to drink.

Have a nice one friends!

Love.

Stu.

Happy Christmas mate!! I woke up this morning and immediately reflected how grateful i was that I was sober and I can reflect on my state of mind two years ago when I woke up after blackout and the horrible sinking feeling that i felt and the craving for more booze...

Grateful to be sober and to not have the compulsion to get wrecked.

Have a great sober day mate!!

Peace

Like you, wrapping presents and a drink in hand was the norm... but I got through it... just thought about how grateful I am for being sober and all the good things that come with that accomplishment. No hangover this morning or empty bottles and woke up early with tons of energy to enjoy the day of events with my three wonderful kids and hubby.

Have a great Christmas Chopper and all...

great to see all this optimism and success here. I am grateful that my sober Christmas was easier than I expected it to be. It feels great not to have drunk.
ah, what a life.

A good day with SO much food that there would have been no room for alcohol even if I had wanted it!!

So chuffed I didn't ruin things for the family like other years.

Sober sober sober

Nice one man!!! It's really great to hear your success mate and your gratitude too!!

Gratitude really is what it's all about for me. Yesterday I was grateful to be sober and grateful to be at peace and it was truly a fantastic Christmas day spent with family and loved-ones!! So grateful...

Peace
