I don't want him to come to Christmas with my family tomorrow

My father's side of the family that is, he's not invited to anything on my mother's side anymore.

He has his long weekend(4 days off) starting tomorrow, I don't want him there. He'll talk it up, act all charming, etc. while I sit around and chase my 2yo around the room. If I hadn't already said I'd go, I'd just as soon stay home instead.

At least he doesn't drink around family. Not that his charming act is any better.

And why oh why does he think it's okay for him to come home from work, take a nap, and then stay up until 2am? Dangit, Christmas eve is my night for wrapping, chilling out watching tv(I'm doing a Doctor who Christmas special marathon tonight) and just ME time. now I have to listen to him playing Fable in the next room instead.

Man, I know how it is when you are on your way out the door.
Its like, dont you get it?
Get away from me!
you are ruining my mellow!
geez, good thing i was working my AA program, and actually had somewhere to go if i had to (a meeting).
we were not of the same mind about anything anymore, and everything he did, well okay, truthfully i would get enraged.

I tried this when really frustrated, and I had my plan in place. I would say to myself,
"Its almost over Beth, breathe in, breathe out, it's almost over."

Doctor Who Marathon?
I like to watch "Its a Wonderful Life"

yeah, I'm a nerd, so I've got my Netflix queue all set up for just the Who Christmas specials. I don't like schmaltzy Christmas movies. LOL

I think I will try something else this year too.
Change things up a little.
When you start to know the dialoque, well, maybe that's too much.

The movies I know the dialogue too, those are ones I watch when I am having trouble falling asleep. The Star Wars originals are like that for me.

I gotta get myself geared up for tomorrow's Who special too.

I thought about using a line of Yoda's for my signature,
but I think someone else uses it.

There is no try, only do.

Yeah, I got my geek going on. I remember when the magazines that were out at the time saying it would be impossible to get to a gigahertz.

Ah, those were the simple days.
LOL
I was in communications in the Army, we got all kinds of good stuff to work with.
When we got a T-1 line for our office in the hospital, I was soooo excited.
Everyone else didnt know what that meant.
Bwahahahahahah
Okay, then they started puttting blocks on, geez, i wasnt talking about secrets, i was playing games and talking to people in the states.

My first computer had a 512mb hard drive. ROFL

He hasn't woken up yet, so I think he'll probably sleep all night now. I'm just waiting for all the kid noises to quit before I get all the gifts out. Why I wait to the last minute every year, I'll never know.
