I should start by saying thanks for letting me join Sober Recovery.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but six months ago I finally hit my rock bottom. I could've lost my life in an alcohol related car accident. After my accident I ended up receiving my second D.U.I. and was ordered by the courts to enter in to out patient treatment, which I am still attending.

I have been reading some posts on this site and like what I have been seeing. I like how people reply back with positive comments. I have been sober now for six months and really enjoy it. I joined this site for the added support, which I'm sure I will get.

I encourage any comments. Thanks

Welcome and congrats on the 6 months sober! I totaled my car 4yrs ago and got a DUI and unfortunately that still wasn't enough to make me stop drinking but Im here today on day 3. hope you enjoy the forum.

Welcome Juancho - it's great that you got sober and are doing outpatient. I rely a lot on the support I get here and I know you will too. One day at a time!
