To everyone who sent me a message of hope, I thank you. I am going to my first meeting tonight at 7:00PM. Scared.
It kills me to see that as much as his family knows about him and our ongoing fight with drinking.....they still consider him the Golden Child......i can't grasp it.
I think his father had a drinking problem back in the day...not sure, but in his family they keep quiet about EVERYTHING.
Well, needless to say he went over his friends house last night around 7 and never came home last night......whatelse is freaking new.
I will continue to come back.
I wish all of you the best too, and will keep you in my prayers too.
One more thing...........I am amazed at the number of meeting places I found available to me....its great.....and yet so sad that they have to have so many of them available for people like us.......bye

good for you for getting to your first meeting! it takes a lot fo courage.
i was scared the first time too...but afterward, i was so incredibly relieved that i had somehwere to go.
