Resentments - Found a good book...
Was looking online for advice on how to deal with resentments and came across this book that is free to read online.
I've ordered the book from amazon but thought you guys, especially any ACOA might find it helpful.
Chapter 3 especially really speaks to me...am only recently coming to terms with the realization that I'm an ACOA and it's really difficult, all the realizations hurt.
But anyway, the book can be found below, it's called "Taming Your Turbulent Past" by Gayle Rosellini & Mark Worden, have any of you read it?
Have only read up to chapter 4 so far, think I'm going to wait until my paper back arrives to finish it as it's pretty long.

Children of alcoholics don't know how to live a healthy lifestyle because their parents didn't model healthy behavior. Hit and miss meals, emotional and physical exhaustion, and constant stress are normal components of homelife to adult children.
Oh do I feel identified even if I am not an ACOA. I am just realizing most people including myself, don't even know how to eat, or even breathe for that matter ....
